Nurse Practitioner

Jessica Wagner, APRN is a Nurse Practitioner with a specialization of family medicine at our Champaign at the Crossing location. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Indiana University, Indianapolis in 2009. Then she earned her Master of Science in Nursing at University of Southern Indiana in 2021. 

Jessica reflects on what drew her to healthcare, “My mom was a nurse and growing up I saw how much she loved her job, patients and helping people in general. As I grew older, I knew I wanted a rewarding profession and I knew nursing was the perfect fit from my mom's experience.  I decided to become a nurse practitioner after working with a great doctor and seeing how she connected with patients and helped them so much; I wanted to do the same.” 

Jessica’s certifications include: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) from the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

Jessica enjoys helping patients of all ages and wants them to feel comfortable. She strives for there to be a two-way conversation, taking in the patient's thoughts and preferences on their healthcare plan. Jessica wants to provide the most up-to-date information to the patients so that together we can make them the healthiest versions of themselves. 

In Jessica’s free time she enjoys camping, spending time with my husband and kids and attending their sports activities (football/dance/wrestling), and she loves concerts/live music events.
