Laurie Bryant
Licensed Massage Therapist
Laurie was attending Heartland Baptist Bible College as a mission major/education major when she realized teaching was not what she wanted to do.
She spent the next year doing various things, including working at a children's home in Costa Rica for a few months. In 2004 she started working for a chiropractor in Texas. He was the 1st to mention massage therapy to her, and in 2005 she attended Universal Body Wellness Massage School in Texas. During that time, the chiropractor took a hands on approach, teaching her many things that the school didn't cover. After graduating, she continued working at the chiropractor's office 2 days a week, mostly doing corrective, structural, and medical work.
During this time, she moved to the Oklahoma City area, working 4 days a week at a top rated spa, and received aromatherapy and reflexology training.
After almost 2 years of weekly traveling, she ended her time at the chiropractor's office. 2 years later, she started her own traveling therapist business, which she continued til 2024.
In 2022/2023 she updated her education to achieve current education requirements.
She often tells people to tell her when something is bothering them, even if it isn't something you wouldn't think massage therapy would help. Her extensive experience includes a very long list of common and uncommon conditions she has effectively treated.
Along with being a massage therapist since 2005, in 2013 she attended a doula workshop, and starting attending births, but has kept her main focus on massage therapy.
Laurie married in 2014 and has four children- 2 daughters and twin sons.
She doesn't get much time for anything outside of work and family, which suits her, because her passions are her family and bodywork.
