Nurse Practitioner

Teresa Kinney MSN, FNP- BC is a dedicated nurse practitioner at our Danville clinic. Building a trusting and supportive foundation, in order to help patients feel their best, is her highest priority.

Teresa is a Danville native, born and raised. She attended Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky and trained in Rural Health Care to provide primary care for the underserved and lack of access to health care. In addition, Teresa has earned an American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) certification.

Teresa guides individuals and families in their health journey through:

• Performing physical exams and health screenings

• Monitoring patient updates and focus on disease prevention

• Developing and adjusting treatment plans for non-acute issues

• Providing continuing education and support and serve as a health care guide 

• Providing care for acute illness  

Teresa explains her approach in the following way, “I am the guide that can help provide the tools, the patient has the magic within themselves. It’s my pleasure to help patients find their path to wellness. Guiding patients to be the best version of themselves both physically and emotionally is truly fulfilling.” 

Teresa has practiced as a nurse practitioner in both Florida and Indiana and is thrilled to be returning to care for people in her hometown!

In her free time, Teresa loves art, painting, gardening, knitting, being outdoors, traveling, reading and most of all - spending time with her family and friends. She strives for a healthy work / family / life balance.
