Nurse Practitioner

Traci Knierim, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner serving at the Champaign at the Crossing clinic. Traci’s extensive experience includes nearly two decades of healthcare experience prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. Traci is adept at providing care to individuals of all age groups from infancy to geriatrics.

Traci’s academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana State University School of Nursing in Terre Haute, IN, United States, earned in 2004. She furthered her education with a Master of Science in Nursing, FNP, from the Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University in Normal, IL, United States, in 2023.

Passionate about health and wellness, Traci is committed to helping her patients achieve their optimal health and become the best versions of themselves.

As a specialist in family medicine, Traci holds several certifications, including:

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board

• Ambulatory Care Nurse (AMB-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

Traci takes pride in her ability to work with patients across the lifespan. She strives to create an environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their health concerns and feel heard.  Traci shares, “I especially enjoy helping those that wish to work on lifestyle changes for optimum health and wellness.” 

On a personal level, Traci is an advocate for health and wellness. She enjoys weightlifting and regular exercise. In her down time, Traci loves spending time with her family. Her ideal vacation is relaxing beachside with a good book.
